AI Denoise - need a way to apply to multi-select and let it run...
I love the new AI Denoise feature!! HOWEVER... when I use this, it really bogs down my laptop's CPU. Huge.
WISH: Need a way to make it EASY for me to multi-select a number of photos and apply AI Denoise so I can let it sit there and churn away. Today, because this is an ACTION -- and not a setting that's saved when you copy/paste settings or as part of a preset -- it's impossible to EASILY apply it to a large number of photos. Even if I "mark" the images I want/need to apply this (eg. make them red) .. I still have to visit each one individually, go to Develop mode, click the button, etc. etc.
more than one reasonable solution:
1) Add a right-click context menu to a multi-selection: "AI Denoise (group)". I'm fine with just picking the same settings for all of them!
2) Make the denoise command have a "Denoise at Idle" setting... where it makes the background AI Denoise actions pause until the PC goes idle. Eg. .. just make these super low priority so they aren't taking CPU while I'm trying to interactively edit photos. It kills the interactive performance of LR.
thanks!
