AI Edits storage error

I’m getting an AI Edits storage error when opening Lr Classic 15.2.1 and have followed the suggested fixes and non work. I’ve read posts saying to contact Adobe Support for a tool to fix a corrupt Lr Catalog. How on earth do you even contact Adboe Suppor??? All I am able to get to is the Community. How do I fix this annoying error prompt?

    I’m using Windows 11 Pro. I contact Adobe Support and they were able to fix the issue remotely by removing the *.lrcat-data file. I asked the support person what happens to all of my AI edits and he said to Update AI Settngs because my AI Removal and Masks are lost.

    I didn’t understand this because the masks you create for Generative AI Removal are very specific and manually created. I don’t understand how they can be updated.

    The whole thing doesn’t make any sense to me as to why this happened all of a sudden out of nowhere and the ramafications of this fix to my catalog.

    Files can sometimes get corrupted. Whether it is the fault of the program or the fault of your hardware or something else is at fault, I don’t know.

     

    Have you been making regular and automated backups of your Lightroom Classic catalog and associated lrcat-data folder?

    In the chat field (lower right of screen), Typing “Agent” into the chat text field will bypass the initial chatbot. Be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human. If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your ad-blockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.
