AI Masking causing LR to run extremely slow

Really struggling with the AI masking tool. Any time it's in use, even for the most simple/smallest of masks, it renders lightroom completely useless. I can't even crop a photo without LR lagging to an unworkable speed. My system meets the min requirements, I'm totally lost and it's now impacting my work. Help!

    Stating that your system meet the minimum requirements is not particularly meaningful when it comes to AI masks. Therefore, it would be more useful to provide a copy of your 'System Inf'. This can be obtained from the LrC Help > System Info menu.
