Question

AI Masks are not Masking the Correct Areas

My AI masks used to work close to perfectly. Extrememly impressive in fact. That is no longer the case. Almost every mask I use when selecting a person, doesn't select the correct area in terms of lips, teeth, face skin, clothing, etc. I have updated the AI masks (which was another issue I keep facing) but no matter what I try, I can't get the masks to perform correctly again. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled lightroom. Please help. My 2 hours I had to dedicate to editing this evening has now been spent trying to correct this problem that is going to cost me WAY more hours until I get it resolved. I use ALL of those filter on every image now. I even had a preset setup so I can sync it to all photos to make my adjustment to individual pictures much easier. BUT even when not using the preset or syncing, I still have these issues.

Please do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

Also, click the Apple icon in the upper-left, do About This Mac, and copy a full-resolution screenshot (not a phone pic) of the result here.

The Background mask isn't perfect.  What does a Person mask look like on that photo?  If it looks bad on other photos, post a couple more screenshots of them.

Also, do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.
