AI masks are not rendering in the Library module or exporting to the final files.

Question

AI masks are behaving normally and display beautifully in the Develop Module, but they are failing to show in the Library Module or export at all. If anything, they’re making the images worse than the unedited version. I have tried updating LR, updating my operating system, turning off the GPU, clearing the AI cache, clearing the camera raw cache, rebuilding previews, deleting the previews file from the catalog folder, and any other fix I can find on the internet. I am on a tight deadline for a client, this is a catastrophe.

Just to make sure: A common issue is that people mistake the color overlay used in develop to show where the mask gets applied as if the overlay is actually the edit. It’s not it just shows where the mask gets applied as soon as you do any slider changes to the mask. Make sure that that is not what is going on. It is such a common mistake that I need to ask even though that seems very basic.

What are these screenshots off? Which is Library Which is develop? What were you trying to accomplish? Are you editing in HDR mode by any chance (usually best to not do that if you’re not absolutely sure of the destination of the images being capable of HDR). The image seems very strongly blown out in the highlights which is why I ask.
