I thank everyone for the guidance, I knew I needed a GPU but now with the answers I was able to guide the purchase to a product that meets my specific needs. Thank you very much!

Just to give you an idea, an RTX2080Ti does about 15sec for a 45MP image. If your camera has like 24MP, it will ba faster then 15sec on the same card.

My laptop has an RTX3070 which performs about the same as an RTX2080Ti (because its a laptop GPU) a real RTX3070 will be faster, but its not like AI denoise will be as fast as 1 second. will probabky still be around 10secs for 45MP

Good morning, I'm thinking about getting the RTX 4060 or RTX 4060 TI, which one would have the best cost/benefit?

AI Denoise speed depends on the power of your GPU. As dj_paige said, on Windows the Nvidia GPUs seem to work best, the newer the better. (On macOS, AI Denoise is sped up by having more GPU cores.)

AI Denoise speed is not improved by having more CPU cores or more RAM. Only by a faster GPU.

And please post a screenshot of your LrC /Preferences/Performance/

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.

Get a newer more powerful GPU, like Nvidia RTX 40xx series.
