Curious: have you yet tried to merge a panorama from denoised images?

That may prove more space efficient, if the intermediate denoised versions of your original shots were afterward removed from the Catalog with deletion on disk, leaving only the completed pano DNG. This then need not include the extra file burden (embedded copy of the input data), that a specifically denoised DNG may do.

Panoramas have been demosaiced already so this can't work right now. The AI denoise only works on raw files that still are in the Bayer mosaic pattern cameras use. Adobe has said they are working on a version that will work on demosaiced files so perhaps we'll get this in the future.
