AI people recognition

(my LR Classic System Info is at bottom of post if needed)

I have been with LR Classic for several decades. I recently started to use People Masking and it works perfect on some images but on other images the Recognition for People does not work at all. (does not activate)  After trying on a range of images I  discovered the failure to recognise People issue is on a  photoshoot session basis. Eventually I discovered the People feature does not work is because the file meta data needs to have the the image set as "a person" So Simple!
I guess over the years of version updates some projects have had the Meta messed about or defaulted wrongly. 

So now I need to update several 1,000s of image meta data without losing any of the Develop Settings. 

How to I batch reset the Meta as "a person" for all of my Libraries?
