Question

all external editors no longer appear in LRC

Hi,

Last week an adobe tech was trying to fix an unrelated problem and uninstalled and reinstalled LRC. I fixed the problem however in reinstalling LRC I see that all of my external programs: Photoshop, NiK, Evoto, Topaz etc are not listed under Edit in.

How can I reinstall them in my LRC.

Thanks

Were you perhaps previously storing presets with catalog?

Yes, I could open Edit in and all of my presets were there.  The only item in my list is photoshop beta.  I'll follow the above recommendations and check the new link

thanks

External Editor Presets are stored as .LRTEMPLATE files in a folder like this:

C:\Users\{YourName}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets

If this folder is empty then your External Editor presets have been deleted or moved.

If you can find them with a file browser search, you could add them back to this folder and re-start Lr-Classic.

If you cannot find them you will need to re-add them in the Preferences/External Editor tab.

Photoshop should be there by default. Nik, Topaz, etc, might be replaced by re-installing the apps.

I suggest your post was 'Moved' to this more appropriate forum.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .

I see that my question was removed by the moderator.  I don't know why or if it was moved to another location?
