Already imported photos, no longer visible in lightroom classic !

Already imported photos no longer visible in lightroom classic !

I have cleared filters and opened parent folders and expanded stacking !

This started, of course, because I was moving folders between drives.  I have many times moved folders in library and then reconnected them with the method of find missing folders and reconnecting them at the correct location. So that I know very well !

But now suddenly many folders only show 2-10 pictures in LRC and 200-400 of pictures with the same date are "missing/not showing"  !  (and 100% sure they are in the same folder in pc library)

If I try to import some of them again or move between folders within LRC, then it says that picture/pictures are already in that folder and in Library that is clearly at the correct location !

I remember at one time, when moving folders, that I got a message that I could merge folders since they had same "dates and names"  and I did that ....  I now think that this could be the reason for this mess !

I am lost .... HELP !

These photos are in the Lightroom Classic catalog, but in a different folder than the one you expect it to be in.

You need to find these photos in Lightroom Classic. Follow all four of these steps in order:

1. In the Lightroom Classic Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Classic Filter Bar

Once you find them, we can provide you with instructions on how to fix this, if desired.

Thank you for your answers dj_paige

Like I mentioned in my first post,  I had already turned of all filters and expanded stacking and I have found the previous location .... Then I right click on it and choose show in explorer .... I then choose that I want to locate it and I find the folder which has all the pictures ....  BUT even though the program offers to find all nearby photos, it only shows the one picture that I was working with  😕😕     And there is no way that I can do this one by one with thousands of pictures ...
