Question

Anyway to automatically dismiss the "failed to import" message?

Is there anyway to automatically dismiss the "failed to import" message when importing from the "watched folder"?

It's halting the whole process and I have to go to that PC and hit ok so it resumes importing the photos. It could easily just skip those and I could pick them out of the "failed to import" folder later. But halting the whole process of adding and sharing the incoming photos online is really annoying.

I might suggest you change the "Destination" folder in the Auto-Import setup. Maybe the currently set folder does not have full Read/Write permissions.

"Sharing" the photos is another topic that requires creating Collections that sync.

I'm not asking why it fails, I know why it does (if the camera aborts the WiFi transfer mid file, cause I change a lens or battery).

No sharing is not another topic, it is setup to share what's imported immediately and that stops when the message appears as it stops importing.

I'm asking how to automate to dismiss that message so it continues it's job without someone needing to physically press a button on the PC.

OK, so your reference to "Watched Folder" suggested you were using Auto-Import (to which my answer was directed).

Now you say you are 'Tethering' the camera- a different LrC process.

Why not give some details- Lightroom Version Number? Camera Make and Model?

And how are you using WiFi?

And how are you "sharing the incoming photos online"?

More information may connect you with someone that has used a similar setup.
