I’m glad to hear that the issue disappeared in Safe Mode! Since the problem doesn’t occur in Safe Mode, it’s likely caused by a third-party application or some background process interfering with Lightroom Classic.

To pinpoint the culprit, I recommend launching the apps you usually use one by one, or starting them as you normally would during a regular startup. This will help identify which application might be causing the issue. Once you’ve identified the problematic app, you can either update it, reinstall it, or contact its support team for assistance.

Let me know how it goes!

Merci beaucoup

Merci. Tou fonctionne correctement maintenant

Hi @Jean-Pierre31097385ljin,

Sorry to hear you’re running into this frustrating issue! To help us better understand what’s going on:

  • Could you please share a short screen recording showing the problem as it happens?

  • Also, try launching Lightroom Classic in Safe Mode (Win/ Mac) (don’t open any other apps) and see if the behavior still occurs — this can help rule out any third-party interference.

If the issue persists, we recommend manually resetting your preferences, but make sure to back them up first in case you want to restore them later. Here’s how:

Let us know what you find! We’re here to help.

Thank you for your reactivity

Yes : in « Safe Mode » The problem has disappeared. Alright.
So the origin would be in another application?

Bonne journée
