Assertation Fail

Okay.... Im about to loose my freaking tree... like actually raging atm.

I have had nothing but issues with lightroom lately. Firstly there was a difference in colours between LR and PS even though the colour spaces were the same. Fixed this via updating lightroom. Mind you I updated a couple of weeks ago and it crashed every 5 mins so downgraded to the previous version. Seemed to fix it.

Then, I moved a few folders around on my computer and was planning on just linking them back when I got into LR. No deal- I lost ALL my edits from the folder (it wanted to re-import the images, not just link the edits again??). SO I tried to bring up a back up file. Didnt work instead got the dreaded "Assertation Fail" error when trying to get into LR. NOW I CANT USE IT AT ALL! I have a bloody business to run and I cant be without support for the weekend!!

I HAVE tried the run as admin option too

HELP!?
