Background and gradient mask over saturated

Question

When using the background mask or gradient mask, it makes that area extremely over saturated. This is hapeing on all catalogs and from all cameras and lenses. I even went back to a past catalog I edited last week which was working fine when I edited it, and now its doing hte same over saturate dthing when I select the backgroud. HELP!

While those screenshots show a problem, they are basically useless as to showing what the problem may be cause by.

Please try again, this time take screenshots from the LrC Develop Module, with the right side panels visible, especially the Mask edit panel
