Backup Catalog

I have LightRoom 6 Classic

Making Backups of the Catalog is useful, and I do it!
But, when I change the backupmap, LightRoom does not remembers this change: the next time LightRoom proposes me to make a backup, the default location is there again.
Is this normal?
Can I instruct LightRoom to remember my choice?

Legend

Lightroom should have defaulted to the last place you chose to backup to in the backup dialog.

Is anything else acting hinky?

You might consider reseting your prefences file.
