Banding on my RAW files

Hi everyone,

 

Lately (since a month or two) some of my pictures have banding issues but I didn't change anything. Same hardware, same settings. The banding is already visible on the imported raw file and seems a bit increased after applying noise reduction. 

I do have 8 bit screens so I have no idea if this is the problem but I always export my pictures as a JPG which is 8 bit anyway. Can I do something to prevent this? I have attached the final JPG since my raw files are to big to upload.

    Please upload the raw file to Dropbox or some other file sharing service.
    Post the link here, and we can take a look at it.

    My first guess is that the originals are really JPG and not RAW (because you might have accidentally changed this in your camera). Please visually check the file name of the original photo to see. (Do not just say “I only shoot RAW”, I want you to visually check the file name on the originals).

    Another guess is very heavy use of the vignette slider can sometimes cause this as well.
