Hi,

My Mac OS is 10.14.5, my LR Classic is 8.3.1. And when I click my screen in LR, I get an 8-10 second beach ball. Every time.

Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Correct answer AxelMatt

In the first step please try switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ

In the second step I would prefer to reset the Lightroom preferences
