Before & After workflow query

Hi! I have a problem. I can do before after but my pictures stay the « same » in « before » AND « after »... i dont know why. It’s like my modifications stay in before and after... can someone help me? Thank you!

    That happens sometimes for various valid reasons and is as designed. To reset the BEFORE view to when the photo was imported just Right-Click the first step in History which is usually "Import" (DO NOT LEFT CLICK TO SELECT) and choose "Copy History Step to Before" from the context menu.  This wll correct the issue without changing the AFTER view.

      Not sure if I understand the issue correctly, could you please elaborate and provide some more details about the issue?
      A screenshot would be helpful as well.

       

      Also, what version of Lightroom and the operating system you're working with? You can check that by going to Help > System Info

      Hi, sorry im french so its a difficulty for me to explain. Sorry. I use Lightroom Classic 7.5 on a Mac OS 10. The problem is when i press « y » or « s » for see my before and after photo when i edit, but since 2 days when im doing before/after the two photos are my « edit » version only, i dont see my photo before correctly.
