bestanden koppelen in LR Classic

Nadat ik om onduidelijke redenen m'n bestanden niet meer kon vinden in LR Classic, volgens de instructie van Adobe de bestanden op m'n externe schijf opnieuw gekoppeld. Maar opnieuw krijg ik de melding in de Ontwikkel-modus dat het bestand niet gevonden is. Hoe kan dit?

Ik schrijf het antwoord in het Engels omdat dit een Engelstalig forum is en omdat ik dit antwoord kant-en-klaar met kopiëren en plakken plaats (ik heb dit antwoord al tientallen keren geplaatst):

 

Did you upgrade MacOS Monterey? Apple changed the security requirements in MacOS Monterey. Go to MacOS 'System Settings - Security & Privacy' and add Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to "Full Disk Access". Click on the lock icon to unlock the settings, then click on the plus icon to add Lightroom Classic and/or Photoshop if it isn't already listed. If it is listed, then just enable the checkbox.
