(Beta OS) Bringing Awareness to Library and Develop Module Performance in MacOS Sonoma 14

This isn't a bug I am expecting to be resolved as it relates to the initial published build of MacOS Sonoma expected to be released Fall of 2023. I simply thought it would be useful that as Adobe develops and optimizes LrC that some end-user feedback would be appreciated.

I have noticed that various actions in the develop tab of Lightroom Classic 12.3/12.4, across all states of GPU acceleration from off, custom, to fully enabled, exhibit a hesitation/lag when expanding preset folders in the develop module. The amount of items in the folder doesn't appear to matter, from 2 presets to 40, when opening and closing them, there's a pause before completing the action and when closing you can visibly see a stutter. This is also apparaent when changing photos in the filmstrip, opening and closing Develop Profile folders in the profile browser.

Within the Library module, entering any internal or external source where photos are stored that collectively (that folder and all subfolders) has more than 4,000 piece of media will cause a indefinite unresponsisive state. My machine is a fully maxed out M2 Max MacBook Pro 16 inch. I'm used to LrC performing worse than most other applications I use often but this dip in performance was reported to Apple and I figured I'd report it here as well.

I'm glad to provide additional information for developers if needed. Again, not expecting a fix, just shedding some light on early build behavior.

Do you honestly believe that you have access to some MacOS betas that the Adobe developers do not have access to, and so they need to be informed by you about certain issues with these betas?...

Do you honestly believe that a team of developers are able to test every
feature, reproduce every bug, and identify every single possible issue a
production release has?--

I believe that if the developers would like this kind of report, they would ask for it and create a special feedback page, rather than hoping in silence that somebody would report it a forum somewhere.

Is it better with b3? Would be fantastic to know before I jump over the beta train…

I appears the issues others faced with beta 2 are all gone now. --
