Black image after exiting Nik Silver Efex plugin and returning to Lightroom Classic

have had a heck of a time lately with nvidia 2070 super and Lightroom classic and nik plugins. I have taken off gpu edits and bought newest nik plugins and that seems to have helped.

inalso had to reset preference file as nik plugins would crash after 3 photo edits. But a new issue has reared its head. I edit a phot in silver efex pro from Lightroom and hit edit a copy and jpg. Make my edits and then hit apply it exits the silver efex program and goes to Lightroom and the photo that it transfers is black or blank. Even in my file explorer it's just a black photo... anyone ever seen anything like this? Any help?
