Blank Screen - Ligthroom Classic

Hello! Today, I was importing some new photos to my LR Classic. I was going to edit some pictures from a previous import. I can see all the picutres in Library tab, however, when I click on the Develop tab, I am unable to see the picutre in the large box and I'm unable to edit. I only get a blank screen. I can see the library of pictures at the bottom of the screen and the one picure that I've selected in the upper left hand corner, but not in the large box for editing. Help! Not sure what is going on. I haven't logged in, in about 1 month, so I am not sure what is happening.

Oh, you have not  used in a month? Bring up your Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App, sign out, the sign in. You might have missed a date when your subscription needed to be authenticated.

First off, you  might want to consider a nice screenshot app like PicPick (free to home  users):

Nope, I do not work for them, etc. etc.

Took me a few to realize I was not looking at a underdeveloped selfi.

Second up, and more to the issue at hand, please share with us your system information as lightroom reports  it. Click on Help. then System Information, then Copy. Paste into a response.

Interested in Version, License status, DirectX vs OpenGl, GPU make/model/driver. and who knows what else might pop up.

Try disabling GPU acceleration in Lr Preference performance panel.

For Windows- If this 'fixes' the issue  you might also check for updates to your Graphic Card Driver from the card manufacturer and try GPU acceleration again.

For Mac- Have the latest OS installed. (If Catalina- update Lr-CLassic to 8.4.1)

    Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .
