Blurb Cover options not appearing in Book module

Question

I have created and saved an 88 page photo book in the Book Module. Layout is Standard Landscape. Paper is Standard. At various points during the process, soft cover options were available in the dropdown menu for covers. At several points I changed the paper and cover types to see how it would change pricing and everything worked fine. At some point, the soft cover options disappeared and I was left with only with the two hardcover options in the dropdown menu (see screenshot). I’ve tried restarting multiple times. I also created a duplicate book and the issue remained the same in the duplicate. I contacted Blurb and they confirmed that soft cover options should appear for this book based on paper, layout, and number of pages.

Any suggestions? I’ve put tens of hours into creating this book so I don’t want to do anything that would risk losing my work.

I believe I have seen this same (rare) question somewhere (now unknown) in the forums past.

I have experimented and always have a ‘Soft Cover’ option for Standard Landscape no matter what changes I make in the Book Settings panel. Your pages do not exceed the allowed limit, and you have tried the Duplicate Book Collection without success.

I don’t have an answer, but you could also try an experiment by Exporting the Saved Book Collection as a Catalog and open this temporary catalog to see if the Soft Cover option returns in the Book module.
