Book Module - combin/merge two books into one?

I have two separatae books, but I would like to incorporate some of the pages from one book into the other one.  

 

Is there a way to do this without having to recreate the pages in the second book?

    The short answer is no. If you have exported both books as a pdf you can use Acrobat to add/insert/edit the pages there. You'll have to edit the page numbers as well. How many  pages do you want to incorporate into one book? FWIW I think it will be faster to make a copy of the book project and edit in the book module.

    Thank you for your quick reply.  I will proceed with recreating the pages in the Book Module as there are some additional tweaks I want to make.  

     

    It's a large book.  I have 140 pages in one book and 30 from the other, which is why I would prefer to merge/combine them.  But it will be worth it.  At least I have a guide now...I'm not starting from scratch!  😉

      To make it easier to re-build by adding 30 pages to the 140 page book in Lr-

      1. If you designed any 'free-form' pages (in the 30page)- 'SAVE' them as Custom pages to be re-used.

      2. Adding the images from one (30page) 'Saved Book Collection' to another (140page) is very easy- just Drag-&-Drop from one 'Saved Book Collection' to the other  30>140 =170.

      You now have the added images on the Filmstrip and any Custom pages to re-build the extra 30pages.

      (Note: Custom Pages are specific to Books of one size eg. 8x10)
