Book Module messed up after update to 2021

Question

I created a book in LR CC2020 and keep having pages disappear after hours of work in 2021. I expereienced the loss of pages in the book when doing the following:

Edit photo in Develop

Some how the Library view appears

When I try to type in the Photo description box, but the cursor is not really there. It takes numerous attempts to get the highlight to type.

Very upsetting since I lost 18 of my 28 pages when I was redong page 22. The first 6 pages seem to remain.

Any ideas?
