[Branched] Update Lightroom Classic to version 11 - pictures missing in catalog after converting

Question

This might not be the place to comment but I am having serious problems with the Lightroom Classic 11 update from version 10 inWindowsn 10.    Thousands of pictures wer not passed onto the catalog 10-11.  I off course can import them, however I loose all of the metadata.  I would like to go back to Lightroom 10 until Lightroom 11 is stable but it does not seem possible.

Some members find the upgrade fails to upgrade the correct catalog. Check your hard drives for other catalogs.

If that was the case, consider resetting the preference file. Warning, resetting the preference file will cause many settings to revert to defaults.

If you decide to roll back to v10.4, remember, any work in a v11 catalog, any v11 catalog, will not be available to v10.4
