I was trying to get my brush tool to show up and it was not working in Lightroom Classic when I hit Develop. What am I doing wrong?

And, on the Menu in Lightroom-Classic "WHAT's NEW"-

Preset Brushes are there still the same, when you have a Brush active-

Click the {Custom} sub-menu-

If you do not see the full Brush adjkustment panel-

CLick on the 'spinner' triangles to 'open/expand' the full panels. For BOTH the brush size and the Adjustment sliders-

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Congratulations, you have graduated from RTM to RTFM. Very few people are actually able to ignore information freely provided to them. In this case two sources. The fellow members that gave you general directions to the Adobe documentation, And Adobe who placed that documentation in plain site.

So now, I will hold you in the hand and walk you thru the following on wherre to find the documentatiuon, how to RTM

1. At the Adobe Support Community, in Lightroom Classic, Under Discussion (for one), You know, this very site you are reading this in. Right near the top, second from top in fact, notice the document link that is ALWAYS provided when updates/upgrades are released. Here:

I have encircled the link in the screenshot above, go in the actual web page, and click on that link

Notice the link within that document that I encircled, on the actual web page, click on it

That brings up a document Adobe ALWAYS posts at updates and upgrades. Several articles may be included. Especially at upgrades. Notice that I circled two, you will want/need to bring up and read both. For now, for the subject at hand, on the actual web page, click on that one circled in red, the one about Masking

The screenshot above is just a small part of the document. Starts right out with showing where the Mask button is.

If possible, please share a screen capture of what is, or is not, happening. This usually helps people assist you.

What version of LrC?

If you upgraded to v11, did you read the manual? (actually the documentation on what is new)

In this very community, in this very section (Discussions), right near the to-, the announcement for the new LrC, in it, a link for Whats new. That would be RTM.
