Brushes

My brushes aren't consistent.  The density is always at 100%.  I have a custom Soft Skin.  Some weeks the settings are perfect and smooth skin perfectly.  Then all of a sudden, I have to adjust the settings on it because it's barely smoothing the skin at all.  Help!  I've also tried restarting LR and my computer.  This happens to me about every other month.

hi.  I've moved around the Flow and Density and Clarity/Sharpness.  this setting used to flawlessly smooth out the skin.  I could adjust the exposure or highlight as needed.  see from the picture of the baby's face, how pixel-like it almost makes the edges.  I have no idea why it's so different.  I've also tried going back to all defaults, with no luck.  i'm on the Lightroom Classic, using the monthly membership.  it's driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!

Check the Flow of the brush. If it is less than 100%, then you have to brush more than once over the same spot to get the maximum effect.

    Hi amberw,

Since, how long you are facing this issue? Is it after any specific Lightroom update? Also, please let us know the exact version of Lightroom you are using now?

You can also try resetting Lightroom preferences back to defaults and check if that helps.

How to set Lightroom Classic CC preferences

    Regards,
