Bug in batch processing (auto mode in Develop module)

I'm running LRC 13.3.1 on a MBP M3. Just now (22 June 2024) I noticed this: I batched processed about 150 photos. While I was checking them one by one to see if they were OK, the changes were made (the sliders moved) but they were not visible, not even pressing / (before/after). Once I moved a slider (e.g.: white balance) then all the changes became visible. So I couldn't check the results of the auto processing unless I moved a slider, which needless to say, is annoying.

Are these DNGs by any chance?

No, they are raw (cr3) files. Still having the issue. Not always though and I haven't found out what triggers it.

Over the years, LR has had a number of bugs applying Auto Settings to batches of photos, and Adobe has never been able to get it right. The most recent open bug report from 2022:

After applying Auto, you might try selecting all the photos and doing Library > Previews > Build 1:1 Previews, which usually forces LR to re-render the images and save the rendering in its caches.
