Question

Bugs in Lightroom CC Classic since latest update 2018, any fixes?

Since the latest big update and the subsequent bug fix update (version 7.3.1 and I performed the update in April 2018) Lightroom has been very glitchy to say the least. The recent 'bug fix' update did fix a couple of issues such as slow performance going from one photo to the next, but it's still very buggy. A couple of the most frustrating bugs are when I'm scrolling through the left hand menu/column in the develop menu where the presets, history etc is, if I want to scroll up and down to choose different presets it's very laggy and freezes for a couple of seconds. The other frustration is the clone/heal brush, moving the cursor is not smooth and it jumps meaning you can't brush precisely, basically it's become unusable. There are other stutters and things as well.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Do adobe read these forums so they can be made aware of bugs? I tried to contact them directly but it doesn't allow me to, it just keeps pointing me in the direction of this forum.

I'm running LR on the 2017 Touch Bar MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM, 2.9Ghz i7 processor, and radeon pro 560 4096MB GPU. I was running Mac OS X Sierra but due to the glitches thought I'd update to Mac OS X High Sierra to see if that fixed it but the same glitches are apparent.

If there's anything I can do to fix this I'd appreciate it as the software is a pain to use at the moment.

This is the wrong forum to report bugs, we are just other Lightroom users and we are not Adobe. To answer your question, the people who actually can fix bugs in general do not read this forum. Please go to: Lightroom Classic CC | Photoshop Family Customer Community where people from Adobe who can fix bugs actually participate.

Thanks very much for this, not sure why I couldn't find that page before.
