I'd like to take avantage of the Amazon offer to buy Lightroom and Photoshop but would like to know if I can buy it now and then activate the plan in a couple weeks time.

In the past, Amazon has sold subscriptions to the Photography Plan at a discount price. Is that what you are looking at?

Can you be more specific about what this "offer" is from Amazon? Maybe even provide us a link?

This is the offer for the Photography plan, I just want to know if once I buy if that can be activated, say, a week or two later.

That does not answer my question. Is this a discount certificate, or is this the actual subscription? What is the exact Amazon URL you are looking at?

To be clear, you can't 'buy' Ps or LrC. Amazon are offering a 'Black Friday' discount on the 12 month subscription.

I cannot be sure about Amazon, but I would be reasonably confident that your 12month subscription commences on the 'day of purchase'.

Activation (or De-activation) of the Apps available in the Plan can happen at any time (in the CC Desktop App) but it does not influence the 12month subscription 'Start' date.

PS. If you are already a subscriber, then purchasing another annual subscription (at a discount price, and under the same 'identity') will simply extend your current subscription.
