Camera not being found when tethering

Hi,

I was trying out the tethering function in Lightroom but can't get it to work. I have been using the Imaging Edge software but wanted to switch to lightroom but in Lightroom it doesn't seem to detect my camera. It is just stuck on detecting camera but not finding anything. I am using the Sony A7IV with a tether cable (tetherpro)

What I tried:

- Updated the firmware of my camera

- Lightroom is latest version

- Reset Lightroom Classic preferences

- And tried all these steps, did nothing: Fix tethered shooting in Lightroom

So hopefully u guys have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I'm sorry that the issue persists! Did you try the steps suggested in the conversation I shared?

I found another thread where some steps helped a couple of users. You can try those out here: https://adobe.ly/4cGJO0q

Hi, thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry about the trouble! Do you still have the Imaging Edge software installed on the machine? If yes, try uninstalling it and checking if that makes a difference.

Hi Nikunj, thanks for the fast reply. I removed Imaging edge and restarted my pc. But it is still not detecting the camera.
