Since two weeks I am developing raw files take with a EOS 6DMKII. Four days ago I have started some finetuning on my IPAd pro, but then I have received a error messages which says:

missing profile...

then I noticed that the profiles of my camera like (Camera Landscape, Camera Protrait....) have disappered.

Insted of these, I have the profiles of my new canon EOS R (Kamera Landscape V2, Kamera Portrait V2....).

Can anyboedy help me install the profiles of my sold camera EOS 6DMKII.

Or is the problem different nature?!?

Thank you

Christian

Please add your 'Me To' vote and 'Follow' at the below link that reported this issue with LR Classic 8.1. It's apparent LR CC Desktop, Mobile and Web apps are also affected as you've experienced.

Lightroom 8.1: Update Ruins EOS R White balance | Photoshop Family Customer Community

It appears Adobe added new v2 camera profiles for the EOS R and implemented the 8.1 upgrade to "automatically" replace the original assigned profile with the new v2 profile. In the past when v2 camera profiles were added in a LR update the user had to "manually" assign the v2 profile to help prevent things like this from happening! One solution is to rollback to LR 8.0 and ACR 11.0 and wait for Adobe to remove the profile "hijack" in a later update or provide v3 profiles.

The proper solution is for Adobe to provide an update that does not automatically apply new v2 camera profiles to currently imported image files as done in the past.

Thank you Johan!

Further investigation brougt following result:

raw file from EOS6DMKII (I dont have this camera anymore):

camera profiles (e.g. Kamera Landscape) are not available on my IPad after changes on Lightroomm CC Classic.

Lightroom Classic CC Desktop screenshot:

Screenshot IPad after sync completed same picture:

New Camera EOSR:

camera profiles of new camera are available on both locations

screenshot desktop lightroom CC Classic:

screenshot Ipad after sync:

So, I miss the camera ralated profiles of my old camera (used on approx 12000 pictures) on the mobile devices.

I also have tried to upload a raw file of the old camera via the iPad, but I cannot get back the camera profiles of my old camera.

How can I load old camera profiles on the mobile devices? I have a workflow where I do many steps on the IPAD but cannot accept that I loose my colour profiles. The replacement by Adobe profiles is sometimes acceptabel, but in some cases I loose the impressive results...

Thank you

Christian

Camera profiles do not sync from Lightroom Classic to the cloud, so what you could try is the following:

1: Locate the old camera profiles. https://www.lightroomqueen.com/lightroom-classic-file-locations/

2: Install Lightroom CC for the desktop if you don't have that installed already

3: Start Lightroom CC for the desktop

4: Import the old profiles in Lightroom CC for the desktop

They should now sync to the cloud, so they should become available for the iPad as well.

That is strange. Camera landscape is a standard Adobe profile, so it should be available on your iPad too. Can you show a screenshot of the profiles that are available? This might be a translation bug. The profile on the iPad is probably called 'Kamera Landscape' because you run the iPad in German (and on the desktop in English?). If so, you could simply select this profile on the iPad.
