can I download older lens profiles?

I just got a used Tamron 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 AF-D lens. When I transfer my pics and use lens correction in LR CC it automatically selects a Tamron 10-24 f3.5-4.5. I'm guessing this is an older lens. Is there anyway to get an older lens profile? Or did Adobe not account for this lens?

I think you're out of luck. The  Tamron 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 AF-D lens is not supported by Adobe, and I can find no record in the Adobe Lens Profile database of one being uploaded by a customer.

I am pretty sure that lens profiles do not get removed from the LR system. Check your hard drive for the lens profiles you have. It may be that the 28-80mm lens does not yet have a profile created.

The lens ID system varies from maker to maker. Sometimes IDs get mixed up.
