Can I import a LR 6.12 catalog into LRC running on Win10?

I’ve had a crash on my Win10 machine and re-installed Windows. After that, I couldn't approach LR version 6.12 any longer. If I take a plan on LRC, can I then import my "old" LR catalog?

    Yes, the current Lightroom Classic (version 13) can make use of Lr 6 catalogs. Why can't you "approach" version 6.12 any more? What does "approach" mean in this context?

    Dear, After re-installing Win10 I cannot open LR because it's not in the registry. I had to re-install LR, But, a download of LR6 isn't available anymore. Nevertheless, your answer was very helpful to me now knowing not to lose my edited pictures from on 2009. Thanks for your kind help. I'm going to make a plan now.

      Download Lr 6.14 from here. Do a smart thing for yourself and save this file somewhere where you can find it if you ever need it in the future.
