Can I prevent stacked images from being synced across the mobile platform?

Hi guys. Here is one happy amature coming from Aperture trying to understand Lightroom

I use LR Classic CC. I work with bracketed exposures to create HDR images. I stack the bracketed photos under the final HDR image to keep my folders logic and somewhat easy to work with. I also use stacking to sort away secondary images I want to keep for later.

Question: Is there a way to make Collections of the visible images in a folder and not sync all photos? I understand that Collections do not allow stacking, which is fine, but I might have 50 photos I work with and 150 stacked under those and hate to see 200 photos I just organized in my folder, pop up as a mess in LR CC on my iPad.
