Can I see rankings created and develop changes created on a pc on a mac? whats the process for transferring the pc settings/work to a mac?

I've got a client who wants to transfer about 10k images to me via external hard drive. I'm to rank, develop and organize them.  She has a mac and will move the images from her mac onto my external hard drive. I'll then import them from that hard drive into my pc and into my LR, I presume creating a new catalog just for them.  After I've done the work on those images on my pc, how do I assure that she will be able to see the rankings and develop changes on her mac? When the work is done, I presume I export them from my pc onto the external HD and then she imports them into  her mac and LR.  But will she see all my work?  Are there steps I need to take to be sure she can?  We both have creative cloud current versions of LR.
Thanks
Paul

The problem is not the software, as you both are on the same level and the catalog files are interchangeable.

I would use an external hard disk FAT32 formatted (only drawback: it's limited to 2 TB). FAT 32 kan be read/written by Windows and MacOS. Your client exports the files she wants you to work on as a catalogue on the hard disk. You load that catalog into LR do whatever you want doing and return the disk to your client. If she keeps a copy of the disk at home, you only need exchanging the catalogue for her to see, what you did, as the files do not getting touched.
