Can i use lightroom in the external hard drive ?

My system is being bulky due to these heavy softwares installed , is there any way that i can install the lightroom on the external hard drive and when i want to use it i can connect the hard drive and could use it.

    No... Adobe programs do not install to a removable drive

    Move data files to your external drive to make room on your internal drive

    You can move the catalog file and the photos, or some of the photos to an external drive, but you can't move the application itself.

    You can move the photos (which probably take up the most space) to the external HD, by following the directions in "Part 2 — Updating Folder Location" in this document: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm

    OK i will move the files from my internal hard to external hard drive but the external hard is brand new and i haven't partitioned it yet,can i follow this guide to make partitions? is it authentic?

    There is no reason to partition the drive for Lightroom's benefit. (Perhaps you need partitions for other sofware ...)
