Can I use my files from a non official copy of Lr on a new CC membership?

Hi, I had a non official copy of Lr installed in my pc which I formatted after backing up my files, now I want to open a new CC Photography Plan but I do not know how to put those backed up files back in Lr.

Well, to tell you the truth, you probably shouldn't mention here in this forum that you had an unofficial copy of Lightroom in use.

If you have your catalog file and the original photos, then you can use them with Lightroom CC. You should be able to open the catalog by using the File->Open Catalog command. Then restore your photos files to the exact same locations that they were in previously, and you should be up and running.
