can not delete Media Cache Files

I am using LR 5.7 and on preferences, file handling, video cache setting, I clicked on purge cache.  I did not see anything in my trash but I emptied the trash anyway.  When I go back into my finder, my media cache files still is still at 20 gb.  Help!

    Correct answer Just Shoot Me

    Just use Finder to Delete all the files in the cache folder.

    But if you have videos imported into LR and go to the folder that holds those video files LR will start building the cache again.
