Question

Can't access photos from my hard drive on MacBook

I have purchased an external hard drive which is linked to my iMac. I can access the photos which I have imported from the external hard drive on my iMac but I cannot see them on my Macbook. The sync is on but that still doesn't seem to pick it up. I'd love to be able to see them on my Macbook, so that I can edit them when I am on the move. I am using the Adobe Lightroom Classic for this.

Is there anything that I can do to make this work?

Thanks in advance.

Lightroom Classic cannot sync one computer to another. It can only sync photos to the cloud.

The best solution is to move the external HD back and forth from iMac to Macbook. Another solution is to use Lightroom (not Classic)

Hi there,

That's really disappointing. Does Lightroom have the same functionalities as Lightroom Classic? I thought the latter was much better.

Thank you,

Jose

Lightroom and Lightroom Classic are different programs with different capabilities (and much overlap). What functions are critical to you?
