Question

Can't buy Lightroom Classic as I have already bought Lightroom CC

I bought Lightroom CC in error. It's showing on my Creative Cloud account as a paid-for annual subscription. However, if I try to buy Lightroom Classic (I have downloaded the trial version and migrated everything) it says I have already bought it! The only option seems to be to create another user account with Adobe, unless anyone has a better suggestion. I could cancel my CC subscription but that may not fix it.

Contact Adobe Customer Care directly. They are used to their product names causing confusion and can switch you to the right plan.

Thanks John. Not wishing to appear dim, I have failed to find any way of messaging Adobe directly. Their "Contact Customer Care" site just sends you round in circles. I think I spotted a UK phone number for purchasing so will try to find that and give them a call tomorrow.

Yes, they do make it hard to contact them directly! https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/manage-account/using/change-plan.html might be useful. Also https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/contact.html

When you bring up Adobe.com and look at your account, what Plan is shown as purchased?

Hi David  - it just says "Lightroom Plan with 1TB". I bought it as a download card off Amazon and it's a CC plan but my Creative Cloud Desktop just calls it Lightroom. I have uninstalled it, and have Classic installed and working.

At that web page, does a button exist concerning changing plan? Might be an issue if non U.S. Credit card used.
