Can't delete additional cover page in book module?

Hi

I've almost completed a book in Lightroom Classic and somehow have added an additional front/back cover page halfway through the pages which I can't remove?  Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be very welcome!

Very weird! And no suggestions, other than start again with a new book.

I cannot replicate the situation so there has to be some corruption in the catalog for this to occur.

If you cannot select the errant front/back cover page and [Right-Click] to [Remove Page], then its back to 'Start again'.

Sorry.  Or maybe-

There is always the often suggested Reset of Preferences for quirky problems like this. PREFERENCES RESET (Lr Queen)

And you could try restoring a catalog from a backup (if it contains the book work).

RESTORE A CATALOG FROM BACKUP

If you have created a Saved Book Collection, and it in a backup catalog, there is a method to selectively 'extract' that specific collection from a Backup Catalog.

RESTORE PARTIAL from backup catalog?

Many thanks for taking the time to repond Rob, much appreciated.  I ended up starting a new book which was a chore but as I had the original to use as a template at least it wasn't as painful as starting the whole edit/design/layout completely from scratch!

Thanks again
