Can't download my Lightroom 5 version

Hi there - I bought Lightroom 5 several years ago. I wanted to downlad it today and it's not possible. There is an ERROR 404 coming. Anybody experienced this before?

    Did you create an Adobe ID and register the product when you first installed and used the product?

    If not, do you have your serial number for version 5?

    If it is an upgrade from a previous version do you have the serial number?

    If you have this info you will have to contact an adobe agent to proceed further since Adobe removed all links to installers for versions prior to Lightroom 6, several months ago. Then you will have to convince the agent to provide you with a download link.

    I am not sure but suspect you will not be able to use the installer unless you have an ID. Maybe the agent can provide you with specific instructions on how to proceed.

    A few days ago I reinstalled LR 5.7.1, on my iMac using a backup of the installation file I downloaded at the time of purchase. The upgrade serial number and version serial number was used. However, my product was registered and I have an Adobe ID.

    You should also have one if you can post in this forum.

    It didn't work. I also chatted with the live support and received an installation file. But this also didn't work. Very disappointing.

    Right – what Nancy said. You'll notice on the Adobe help page she linked:

     

    "Don't see your app or plan?

     

    If you need to reinstall an older app, but don't see it listed in your account, contact us."

    1. Click the chat bot icon in the lower right. 
    2. Type AGENT followed by Enter Key. 
    3. Give the agent your serial number and tell them you need a LR 5 installer. 
    4. If they give you any trouble, ask for a supervisor.

      Hi Mischa,

       

      Where did you try downloading it from?

       

      Adobe recently limited access to older version downloads for most products.

        I tried from the Adobe Account. I just followed the link I received when buying the product ( www.adobe.com/store/de/popup/software/download_instructions/). I see the product, I see my order, I see what I paid. Then I click on 'download' and it just doesn't work.
