Can't drag and drop photos in lightroom to my gallery for publishing

Please help!!  I have searched and searched the internet for the answer, I have used LR for years and suddenly I can no longer grab a single photo or a collection and drop into any gallery specifically my smugmug gallery for publishing.  I know I am selecting it properly I keep reading things about smart collections so I started a new collection and it still will not work and this is how I deliver my galleries to clients.  Please help!

    Correct answer 99jon

    Right-click on the gallery name in Publish Services and choose “set as target collection”

    Then select photos from anywhere in the grid and press the “B” key.
