Question

Can't edit in develop module

I can see the picture in develop module but once I click on a preset or try to adjust anything the screen goes gray. I have tried rebooting ligthroom, made sure I have the most updated version of lightroom. I have tried to go in Preferences and change the GPU but now with the update it just says that my system is OFF. I don't know what to do, I haven't changed anything, one day it was working fine and now it doesn't.

Let’s clean up that display of system information, some issue in this forum when replying to a reply. Ain’t strips out line returns. So, I have taken the librity to do that:

System Information provided by OP (emphisis mine)

Operating system: Windows 10 - Home Premium Edition

Application architecture: x64

Application folder: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic Library Path: C:\Users\Owner\Pictures\Lightroom\Lightroom Catalog.lrcat Settings Folder: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom

 So, looking at that

1. Windows OS out of date, not critical

2. Is this a desktop or a laptop/notebook? Looks like no actual GPU, just an integrated video control. Why no DirectX, just see failed OpenGL, best if DirectX, absolute fail if no DirectX and OpenGl fails.

The Win OS needs to be updated for the GPU to function. See the screen capture.

My computer wont let me update, every time it tries to update my computer crashes. It never gets past 90% of it's update so then it just reverts back to how it was...

In Preferences, In Performance, turn off use of GPU acceleration (assuming it is on)

See if that helps

My first guess is that it is a subscription issue.  If you are not paid up, the Develop module quits.  If you are paid up, try login out and back in with the CC application.
