Can't get through to support; LRc sync stalled

Very frustrated with Adobe right now. I've been cut off by their 1-800 support line twice in the last hour; can't find an email or chat channel to try as an alternative. This is truly awful service from a highly profitable company -- something I'd expect from a scam operation. For the first time in 20 years, I'm going to start looking for alternatives.

Meanwhile, as to my problem: Syncing in Lightroom Classic (on Mac) has been stalled for two weeks -- it's stuck showing 6 images as in progress (wanted to send them to LR Mobile) and nothing else will sync. I've done the troubleshooting steps on the Adobe Help page, and the instructions say that if those steps don't work, contact Adobe Customer Support. So that's what I did, with the result described above. It sounds like Adobe has to reset something on their end? But obviously, that can't happen if they keep cutting me off. If anybody knows a solution, I'm all ears. Otherwise, I'm stumped.

CD, help us start helping you with a little background on your system -- versions of OS, Ps.
This is a screenshot of the area in LrC that I think you're talking about:

  • What does your Local Activity read?
  • If not Synced, have you clicked Start Syncing?
  • Have you investigated info | Sync FAQs?
  • Have you clicked the Gear icon, which opens Settings/Preferences>Lightroom Sync?
  • Have you clicked the Sync Activity disclosure triangle to see if you can spot the problem there?

Hi Larry, thanks for answering.

I'm on MacOS 14.5; LRc v15.0.1.

I've done all the steps you outlined.

My Local Activity reads "Syncing 6 photos" and has been stuck there for weeks.

I went through the troubleshooting routine outlined in the "Lightroom Classic sync FAQ" (https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/sync-faq.html)

I got to the end of their sequence as outlined here:

  • If you see a sync that is stuck for a long time.
    • To View Sync Status on Web, select the Cloud icon at the top right beside Web and then select the gear icon to open the Lightroom Sync Preferences. Hold the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) key to reveal the tab. Select View Sync Status on Web to redirect to Lightroom for Web, showcasing all the photos with sync issues, and take appropriate action.
    • Check if you have an All Sync Error collection created in the catalog. If yes, visit that collection and hover over the images for detailed error info.
    • If you don't see an All Sync Error collection, No sync issue on the web, and the numbers are still not settling down, contact Adobe Customer Support.

As you can see, it says to contact Adobe Customer Support if none of the previous steps helps (they didn't). To me, this implies that Adobe has to reset something in their system to cure my problem, but who knows.

Anyway, I tried contacting Adobe and got cut off twice. It's a doom loop: If these steps don't work, contact us. Try to contact us, we cut you off. Rinse and repeat.

But that was a week ago. I'll try again now. In the meantime, if anybody knows a trick, I'd love to hear it.
