Can't Import My .XMP Presets [Windows 10]

Basically I was doing a preset pack to release it online for free.

After COPYING the .xmp files to a new folder on my external drive, the presets simply stopped showing on my user presets tab and I'm not able to import them back to Lightroom in any way!

*the files still show up on both lightroom "user presets" folder and on camera raw "settings" folder

**Other presets that are .lrtemplate are working just fine

*** I'm using the latest version of Lightroom CC 2018

More detailed information is required if anyone is to suggest an answer.

Show a screen-clip of your System Info.   LR MENU > HELP > SYSTEM INFO...

What is the full path to your "User Presets" Folder?

What do you mean by ".lrtemplate are working just fine"?

How are you creating your Presets?

"Copying" a file (of any kind) with the OS would not cause it to stop working or showing in LR.

    Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .
