Can't import pictures into Lightroom

I recently update lightroom cc, and now when i try to import pictures from an sd card it doesn't let me and it says that the picture is already in catalog, but i havent imported these images. i have no clue what to do

If you are sure these images haven't been imported yet, then uncheck the "Don't import suspected duplicates" option in the import dialog and try again.

I have been researching google for the past 3 days. Lol and i did that already, but that didnt work! Im going insane. This had never happened before. They will all be greyed out when i select import, but If i go in catalog, and connect the sd card the pictures will appear (Again I havn't imported them into lightroom) but once i disconnect it it says file not found.

Maybe I don't understand, but it seems like if you connect the SD card the pictures will appear in the catalog, then you have imported them into Lightroom Classic.
