Can't update LR 6.0...

I'm currently running the standalone version of LR 6.0 on my Mac, and need to get updated to the latest version so that I can have new camera and lens profile support. When I click on Help > Updates and it checks for them, it comes back saying that my applications are all up to date. What's going wrong to where it's not allowing me to update, and where can I go to fix the problem?
